Police find drugs on man after he allegedly trashes downtown Honolulu sandwich shop
Prosecutors charged a 27-year-old man after he allegedly burglarized a sandwich shop in downtown Honolulu.
Anthony H. Nguyen was charged Sunday with second-degree burglary and two counts of promoting a dangerous drug in the third degree. His bail is set at $15,000.
Police said a male suspect, later identified as Nguyen, unlawfully entered That Place Subs and Salads on Bishop Street at about 11:50 p.m. Saturday and damaged items.
Police were called and arrested him on suspicion of burglary.
At the time of this arrest, police found cocaine and methamphetamine in his possession, according to court documents.
