Firefighters extinguish blaze at Waipahu roofing company

The Honolulu Fire Department says it took 11 units and 36 firefighters to put out a fire to a warehouse in Waipahu this afternoon.

HFD Capt. Scot Seguirant says the first unit arrived on the scene at 12:58 p.m. and found the fire to a two-story warehouse at 94-170 Leoole St. fully involved.

The warehouse belongs to West Oahu Roofing, Inc. The business was closed and no one was inside.

Seguirant says firefighters got the fire under control by 1:30 p.m. and extinguished by 2:42 p.m. He says the cause and damage estimate have not been determined.
