My father read both Honolulu newspapers every day until he passed away. My mother tried to do the same — she seemed to accumulate more newspapers than she could read.
My husband and I have subscribed to the newspaper for about 40 years.
However, I may have missed an article or feature by the Star-Advertiser in regards to the opinion and support, or not, of Honolulu’s rail transit system, by our Washington, D.C. leadership — U.S. Sens. Mazie Hirono and Brian Schatz, and U.S. Reps. Tulsi Gabbard and Ed Case; a prominent article with their photos, describing their position and opinion of the rail project’s leadership, payroll, payouts and more.
I understand that the rail is a county project. However, with tons of federal funding, I expect that the four must have concerns for the citizens they represent.
If this article has been published, I disappointingly missed it.
If not, I look forward to reading such an article in the Honolulu Star-Advertiser.
