Island Pacific Academy student wins Miss Hawaii’s Outstanding Teen

    Makaila Natividad will represent Hawaii in the Miss America’s Outstanding Teen competition in Orlando, Fla, in July.

Island Pacific Academy high school student Makaila Natividad is the 2019 Miss Hawaii’s Outstanding Teen.

Natividad won the crown at the Hawai‘i Convention Center on Saturday after competing in the categories of interview, lifestyle and fitness, talent, evening wear and on-stage question. She was one of nine contestants across the state.

She will represent Hawaii in the Miss America’s Outstanding Teen competition in Orlando, Fla, in July.

The first runner-up went to Kamehameha Schools Kapalama campus student Crystal Pereira. The title of second runner-up went to Jovelle Lucas, and third runner-up was Charlize Kia-Napaepae.
