Flood advisory expires for Oahu, Hawaii island, Kauai

A flood advisory for leeward areas of Oahu Saturday has expired, according to the National Weather Service in Honolulu.

“At 5:31 p.m., radar indicated heavy rain near Pearl City,” forecasters said. “Rain was falling at a rate of 1 to 2 inches per hour.” The advisory expired at 8:30 p.m. Friday.

The advisory included Honolulu, Salt Lake, Mililani, Wheeler Field, Kunia, Waikele, Kalihi, Ewa Beach, Moanalua, Aiea, Pearl City and Waipahu.
