The decision to reopen the highway to the north shore on Kauai is puzzling (“Road resistance,” Star-Advertiser, April 24).
No bathrooms, no parking, plus the risk of the reckless tourist driving as recently reported on the road to Hana (and witnessed daily here on Kauai).
There will be accidents and injuries. What or who drives this? The governor must rescind this decision immediately and apologize.
