Hawaii Kai robbery suspect allegedly threatens employees

A 47-year-old, male robbery suspect allegedly threatened to harm store employees in Hawaii Kai and was later arrested.

Honolulu police said the suspect concealed stolen merchandise then threatened employees who tried to get the merchandise back.

The suspect fled on foot at 2:56 p.m. Wednesday.

Police found the man near the scene and arrested him at 3:25 p.m. He was in custody on suspicion of second-degree robbery.
