Woman found unresponsive off boat at Kewalo Basin
A 53-year-old woman was found unresponsive off a dive boat at Kewalo Basin Wednesday.
The incident happened at around 1:20 p.m.
Emergency Medical Services reported the woman had a pulse and was alert after first responders performed CPR aboard the boat.
Emergency Services Department spokeswoman Shayne Enright said the woman was in the water at the surface, wearing a wet suit and prepared to dive, but had not yet begun diving when she fell unconscious.
She was transported to an area hospital in serious condition.
