I appreciate that my representative and senators are resisting President Donald Trump and the Republicans.

I believe it is vitally important that the United States stops provoking Iran. I am no expert on Iran, but I am adamant that no good can come to the American people or to the world through another war in the Middle East.

There exist real crises in our world. We should not be exacerbating them and distracting ourselves with destructive and unnecessary war. I sincerely hope that Congress will invoke the War Powers Act if this unhinged president attempts to start a war against Iran or anybody else.
