Fire extinguisher sickens at least four children at Mililani YMCA
A fire extinguisher sickened at least four children this afternoon at the Mililani YMCA.
Emergency Services Department spokeswoman Shayne Enright said in an email the children were apparently sickened when a fire extinguisher went off.
Emergency Medical Services responded to the YMCA on Hikikaulia Street and found two boys and two girls between the ages of 9 and 15. Paramedics treated and transported the children to a hospital in stable condition.
Ten other children, through a guardian, refused transport, Enright said.
