Spirituality can be defined in as many ways as there are people on this earth, and it comes through all forms of expression. It is connected to every person, every location and every activity. As human beings, we are innately spiritual, and our spirituality can be expressed through recognizing what inspires us.

To me, spirituality is a daily expression of what is most meaningful, most fulfilling and holds the greatest purpose for us. We feel most fulfilled by the contribution we make to our own lives and the lives of others.

If you are happiest when you are focused on your business, then running your business is your form of spirituality. If what is most important to you is your children, then putting time into your family is your way of expressing your spirituality. If you love connecting with others, then socializing may be your spiritual pursuit. If you love to exercise and maintain a healthy body, that could be your form of spirituality.

During the time we are here, we have opportunities to experience, evolve and grow. Spirituality comes in all forms of expression and is not about doing things that are spiritual, but more about doing what inspires you.

DAILY MISSION: Remember that being spiritual is not about what you do or only about who or what you believe in. It is a matter of how you approach your life. Whatever it is that you can’t wait to get up to do, know that this is your form of spirituality. Don’t judge it or compare it to someone else’s. Find ways to do more of it.
