Police search for suspect in Ala Moana area carjacking
Police are investigating a carjacking that occurred in the Ala Moana area Wednesday afternoon.
Police said a 28-year-old man was sitting in his vehicle on Kaheka Street when a male suspect approached him at approximately 5 p.m.
The perpetrator allegedly wielded an unspecified dangerous instrument and demanded the victim’s vehicle.
Police said the suspect then fled in an unknown direction in the victim’s vehicle.
There are no arrests at this time.
