Emma and Liam once again topped the list for the most popular baby names in Hawaii, the Social Security Administration announced.
In 2018, Emma and Liam were the No. 1 names for girls and boys in Hawaii as well as the nation, and the same as in 2017. The top names are based on Social Security card application data. Nationally, Liam has topped the boys’ list for the second time in a year, and Emma has topped the girls’ list for the fifth year in a row.
In 2018, 80 baby boys were named Liam, and 65 baby girls named Emma in Hawaii.
Kai was also high on the list for boys, at No. 11, while Malia was No. 19 for girls.

3. Elijah
4. Logan
5. Ethan

1. Emma
2. Isabella
