    Hawaii has produced elite world-class athletes. Some parents are starting their kids in athletics at a very young age.

    Michelle Wie played to her strength, which was golf, a sport in which she was a prodigy. She shot a 68 at the Sony Open in 2004.

Chandan Sappal was a young quarterback at Saint Louis School, which produced Heisman Trophy winner Marcus Mariota and runner-up Tua Tagovailoa. He was a regular at Crusaders varsity quarterbacks coach Vince Passas’ clinics. Read more
