The Oahu All-Stars beat Mexico 1-0 to win the Cal Ripken 12-under World Series championship game. In all, six Oahu teams — believed to be the most ever in a single year — advance to youth baseball World Series, with two (Cal Ripken 12-under and Ewa Little League Majors) winning it all and three (Mililani PONY 13, Babe Ruth 13-15 and Little League Seniors 15-16) finishing second.
