Boat crews Wednesday nudged a 105-foot floating concrete dock back into place adjacent to the USS Arizona Memorial. The anchoring system for the dock failed 14 months ago, putting a stop to walk-on access. A new anchoring system is in place, and walk-on access is expected to resume by October.

The end of the USS Arizona Memorial where up to 5,000 people a day used to cross from the floating dock to the memorial remains disconnected from a metal bridge that provided access.
