Kaukonahua Road reopens following brush fire in Wahiawa
The Honolulu Fire Department says a fire that briefly closed Kaukonahua Road Sunday burned less than a acre of brush.
The fire was near the road’s S-turn just outside Waialua.
HFD Capt. Seguirant said the department received a report of the fire at 11:26 a.m. and had the fire contained by 12:48 p.m.
