The Donghak army experiences the fierceness of the Joseon-Japan alliance as the battle begins in Yiin. With more than 5,000 casualties, Commander Son begs Jeon Bong Jun to surrender. Jeon Bong Jun lets Yi Kang free. Yi Kang, although once betrayed by his general and his men, decides to fight once again for his country.

The Joseon-Japanese army hunts down the remaining Donghak members. Jeon Bong Jun’s location is revealed by a member of the detached forces. Yi Hyun tells Hwang Seok Ju to beg for forgiveness in exchange for his life.

A story of a secret and twisted fate surrounding two women. Min Chae Rin is the adopted daughter and future successor of the nation’s largest cosmetics conglomerate, Makepacific. She has an enthusiastic and positive personality, though at the same time, she fights against her unlucky fate. Min Soo Ah goes missing as a child and 20 years later, still has yet to return to her family.

Min Chae Rin goes missing. Alone with Eun Hyuk, Yeon Joo prepares for the wedding. Chae Rin decides to proceed with her marriage to Moon Jae Sang.

Da Da is in pain knowing the time with Young-goo is limited to only one month. Young-goo learns that the only solution to stop his meltdowns is a reset, erasing all memories with Da Da. Young-goo discreetly plans a way to leave Da Da to travel to Switzerland for his reset.

As Young-goo prepares for the end, Da Da stays by his side, happy to know that he is being cured. They build their own memories with each other. Later, Da Da visits Young-goo with Bo-won’s help, etching her into his memory.

Ji Young and Min Ho realize something was happening with Hyeon Woo’s health. Hyeon Woo adamantly refuses Joon Seo as his bone marrow donor. Na Kyung uses her hidden card when she finds herself on the verge of being demoted by Sang Chun.

Min Ho breaks down after seeing Hyeon Woo’s bucket list of movies to watch. Jae Wook gets furious after discovering Na Kyung’s scheme to negotiate with Sang Chun. The family begs Hyeon Woo to get tested.
