If the Vatican were to be torn down, I would protest.

China invaded Tibet and is a threat to the Dalai Lama. I am shocked.
Mauna Kea is seen as just as sacred as the other sites. It just doesn’t have a world following as the others do. It has no director of information to publicize the ancient religion.
We have seen that destroying a people’s culture and religion saps their spirits. History is the reminder.
There are other mighty mountains in this world. Other nations would welcome the Thirty Meter Telescope.
Leave Mauna Kea to those who worship her. We don’t need to crush the spirits — again — of those who welcomed others.
