So sorry to see your usually insightful editorial telling our governor to stand on the wrong side of history (“Ige needs to act on building TMT,” Star-Advertiser, Our View, July 23).
The Thirty Meter Telescope project has done what no other issue has been able to do: Unite the Hawaiian people and those who are Hawaiian at heart in finally saying “enough is enough.”
Enough taking. Enough trampling. Enough disrespect. This is their land. We are their guests. Let’s respect these deeply felt wishes and urge the governor to say goodbye to TMT.
