Shall we all now just block roads when the political process does not turn out in our favor? I don’t like the new vacation-rentals law. Can my 2,000 friends and I restrict access to my neighborhood until we get our way?
I understand some people don’t agree with the Thirty Meter Telescope and I respect their right to protest, but it is absolutely the duty of our elected officials to carry out the will of the people in a representative democracy. It’s been decided through an election and arbitrated through a lawsuit. This is the process. Anything less is giving way to mob mentality where might makes right.
