“Doctor John”

Dr. Cha Yo Han is an anesthesiologist. Due to a malpractice incident, Cha Yo Han is sent to prison, where he meets Dr. Kang Si Young, a second-year resident of the same department as Yo Han. Many inmates with a similar acute pain start to accumulate in the hospital. Yo Han and Si Young try to find the cause of the mysterious illness.

Without a diagnosis, Inmate 5353 faces a slim chance of survival. With the help of Inmate 6238 (aka Cha Yo Han), Si Young puts in an order for a kidney biopsy for Inmate 5353.

In order to save Hyeon Woo, Sang Chun makes a promise with Na Kyung in exchange for Joon Seo’s bone marrow donation. Na Kyung finds out Joon Seo is not a match, but there is another donor who is.
