The frustration over the Laniakea Beach situation has gone on long enough. Trying to reduce or discourage the increasing tourism traffic is negative thinking. Haleiwa Town had the same problem decades ago. A simple bypass road solved every bit of the problem. It increased tourism and businesses blossomed.
A bypass road solution could initiate the building of another small town with shops of souvenirs, shave ice, restaurants, gas station and even a small residential community for workers to reside. I’m sure everyone will be pleased regarding traffic safety, as well.
I ask government officials to please put on your thinking hats and look into this idea with a “can do” attitude.
