A 27-year-old man, accused of robbing a 39-year-old man at gunpoint in Waikiki on Tuesday, was charged today with robbery.

Alvin James Williams, who was arrested Tuesday on suspicion of first-degree robbery and two counts of harassment, was charged with second-degree robbery.

His bail was set at $5,000.

Police said Williams threatened the use of a gun against the older man before taking his property.

Police found and arrested him 6:22 p.m. Tuesday at 2233 Kalakaua Avenue.
