Tropical Storm Ivo’s five-day forecast track as of 5 a.m. today.

Tropical Storm Ivo is expected to weaken off the coast of Baja California, becoming a tropical depression Saturday.

Centered about 2,605 miles east-southeast of Hilo, Ivo was packing maximum sustained winds of 60 mph at 5 a.m. this morning while moving north-northwest at 10 mph, according to the National Hurricane Center.

Ivo is forecast to continue on its current heading for the next few days while weakening to a tropical depression Saturday and degenerating to a remnant low by Sunday night, the NHC said.

Tropical-storm-force winds extend outward up to 140 miles from Ivo’s center.
