Gov. David Ige needs to enforce the law on Mauna Kea. He cannot neglect this issue, hope it will go away, or push it off on Hawaii County Mayor Harry Kim.
He cannot enforce some laws and not others. The law is the law. He is the governor of this state and has a great responsibility to do something. This impasse has lasted long enough. Mauna Kea is large enough to support all, and it can be done with respect and dignity. We, protesters and the state are not showing respect or dignity to Manua Kea by this protest.
When is Ige going to start working for this state?
