Nobody could claim to be surprised — in fact, a lot of folks would have bet on it happening sooner.

Honolulu’s former police chief, Louis Kealoha, has filed for divorce from his wife, Katherine Kealoha, the former deputy prosecutor. How the split affects defense strategies in their upcoming second criminal trial should be interesting.

As both await sentencing on conspiracy charges (the first trial), at least there’s unlikely to be their habitual hand-holding before future court appearances. And no more matching outfits, either. Please.
