A 34-year-old man who was initially wanted for robbing a bank has been arrested.

Police arrested a 34-year-old man Thursday night who was initially wanted for robbing a bank.

Police said the man was arrested at 10:45 p.m. Thursday in Manoa on suspicion of second-degree theft.

The man was the subject of a CrimeStoppers Honolulu bulletin, which said he was wanted for second-degree robbery of First Hawaiian Bank on North King Street.

Police said that the teller handed a suspect an undisclosed amount of money at 10:12 a.m. Tuesday and the suspect fled the scene.

Police said the crime did not meet the standard for robbery, which must involve the threat or use of force.
