False reports of active shooter at Windward Mall, HPD says
There is no active shooter situation at Windward Mall despite reports, according to the Honolulu Police Department’s website.
A caller mistakenly called in to report an injury of a customer, which was false, HPD said.
“Clearing up a false report: There is NO Active Shooter at Windward mall,” according to an HPD tweet posted at 10:40 a.m. today.
