Marcus Mariota, who is a free agent, lost his starting job this year to Ryan Tannehill, who just received a four-year, $118 million contract.

Marcus Mariota is Las Vegas bound.

According to multiple sources, the Raiders have signed the former No. 2 overall pick out of Saint Louis and the University of Oregon.

Mike Mayock, the Raiders’ second-year general manager, had Mariota rated as the No. 1 quarterback in the 2015 NFL Draft. Jameis Winston went No. 1 and Mariota went No. 2 to the Tennessee Titans.

The incumbent quarterback for the Raiders is Derek Carr.

Mariota, who is a free agent, lost his starting job this year to Ryan Tannehill, who just received a four-year, $118 million contract.

Mariota, who played under a fifth-year contract this past season, passed for 1,203 yards, seven touchdowns, two interceptions with a 59.4% completion rate. He was replaced as the starter after a loss to Denver. Tannehill led the Titans to a 7-3 record the rest of the way and into the playoffs, where they defeated New England and Baltimore before losing to Kansas City in the AFC championship.

Mariota led Saint Louis to a state title and won the 2014 Heisman Trophy while leading the Ducks to the national championship game.
