Car fire closes lanes of H-1 eastbound in Pearl City

A car erupts in flames on the H-1 East before the Pearl City off ramp this morning.
UPDATE 2:45 p.m:
All affected lanes of the H-1 freeway have reopened after being closed for a car fire.
PREVIOUS COVERAGE:
Three lanes of the H-1 East prior to the Pearl City off ramp are closed due to a vehicle fire.
The City and County of Honolulu issued an alert just before 11:30 a.m. As of 12:25 p.m., traffic was backed up to Waipahu.
Motorists are advised to avoid the area and seek alternate routes.
