Power restored to nearly 1,300 after outage in Kailua

Power was restored by 4 p.m. today to about 1,300 Hawaiian Electric customers that were without power in Kailua.

According to HECO’s website, the outage occurred at 2:46 p.m. and affected 1,298 customers.

The outage was caused by a tree branch coming into contact with power lines.
