Woman in her 60s critically injured in Nanakuli pedestrian accident
A woman in her 60s sustained critical injuries in a pedestrian accident in Nanakuli this evening, the Honolulu Emergency Medical Services reported.
The accident took place around 9:20 p.m. at the intersection of Haleakala Avenue and Farrington Highway, EMS reported.
Paramedics administered critical life-saving treatment and transported the woman to a trauma hospital.
Police closed the highway between Haleakala and Nanakuli avenues until about midnight as they responded.
