3 adults rob teen at gunpoint in Ala Moana area, Honolulu police say
A teenager was robbed by three adults, including an armed man, Thursday morning in the Ala Moana area, the Honolulu Police Department reported.
HPD said three unidentified adults — two men and a woman — approached a 17-year-old boy in the area at around 2:30 a.m. One of the men pointed a gun at the teenager while the other two suspects took belongings from his pockets. The suspects fled in a vehicle.
Police had made no arrests by Thursday evening, which has been classified as a first-degree robbery.
The 17-year-old was not injured, HPD said.
