HPD looking into 4 armed robberies, 3 occurring at businesses

Honolulu police are investigating multiple armed robberies that took place Thursday and Friday.

On Friday at 11:10 a.m., police responded to a complaint from a 44-year-old woman at a Liliha business who said that an unknown male had entered the store brandishing a gun and demanded money. The man, who fled in a vehicle, is still at large.

On Friday at 6:28 p.m., police responded to a call that a man had pulled a handgun in a Punchbowl Street business and demanded money. A 20-year-old victim told police he gave the suspect the money and that the suspect fled the scene. Police said the suspect is still at large.

On Friday at 7:08 p.m., police responded to another armed robbery at a Kaimuki business. A 71-year-old female victim told police that a man entered the store brandishing a handgun and took money. The suspect fled and is reportedly still at large.

On Thursday a 17-year-old male told police that he was robbed at 2:28 a.m. in the Ala Moana area. The teen told police that two 30-year-old males and a 30-year-old female approached him and demanded his property. The teen said one of the males pointed a handgun at him while the female and other male removed items from his pockets. The suspects fled in a car and have yet to be arrested.
