Residents upset by Hanauma Bay visitors jamming street parking

Residents say Hanauma Bay visitors’ cars have been crowding curbs and encroaching on driveways. After parking cars on Nawiliwili Street in Hawaii Kai, visitors to the nature preserve walked up to the entrance on Thursday.

                                Hanauma Bay is open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesdays through Sundays, with no admissions after 2 p.m. Only 720 visitors are allowed per day and there are about 230 stalls open to the public in the public parking lot.
