Honolulu police seize more than a dozen gaming devices in Kapahulu raid

Honolulu police seized more than a dozen gambling machines and cash during a raid at an illegal game room in Kapahulu on Tuesday.

Officers of the District 7 Crime Reduction Unit executed a search warrant at the game room in the 900 block of Kapahulu Avenue sometime 7:45 p.m. The Honolulu Police Department’s Narcotics/Vice Division, District 1 Crime Reduction Unit and Specialized Services Division assisted.

Police arrested a 54-year-old woman on suspicion of promoting gambling and possession of gambling devices. Officers also cited eight other people for allegedly violating Honolulu Mayor Kirk Caldwell’s emergency order.
