State confirms investigation underway at Honolulu airport

An investigation is underway at the Maintenance Section Airfield and Grounds Maintenance Unit Facility, also known as the Baseyard, at Daniel K. Inouye International Airport, the state Department of the Attorney General confirmed tonight.

The department said its Investigations Division executed a search warrant during the morning at the facility, located on Aolele Street.

It could not provide any additional details because the investigation is ongoing.
