California-bound cargo plane from Maui diverts to Honolulu after instrument trouble
An Atlas Air cargo plane headed to California from Maui diverted to Honolulu early today because of a problem with an instrument.
The Boeing 767 departed Maui for Ontario International Airport in Southern California when the crew reported an altimeter issue, according to preliminary information by the Federal Aviation Administration today.
The flight diverted to the Daniel K. Inouye International Airport where it safely landed at about 2:35 a.m.
No injuries were reported.
FAA officials said they will investigate.
