Construction worker dies in accident at University of Hawaii athletics complex

    A Roder employee from Great Britain died Thursday after more than 5,000 pounds of material fell on him. The man was part of a crew that recently arrived in Hawaii to build 15 hospitality suites for the retrofit expansion project at the University of Hawaii athletic complex.

The Hawaii Occupational Safety and Health Division is investigating the death of a 30-year-old construction worker killed in an accident after metal equipment fell on him near the baseball field of the Clarence T.C. Athletics Complex at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. Read more
