>> The state of Hawaii this year received $3 million in federal Victims of Crime Act grants, a reduction from $10 million in the past funding cycle. The recipient of the grant was inaccurately reported in a story about the Domestic Violence Action Center’s public appeal for financial help on Page B2 Sunday.

>> A story on Page A8 Sunday in which an infectious-disease expert discussed COVID-19 restrictions incorrectly stated that the delta variant is 1,000 times more transmissible. It is the viral load that is 1,000 times higher than original COVID-19 strains, which makes it twice as transmissible. Also, the state Department of Health clarified that Dr. Elizabeth Char on Friday meant to say fully vaccinated people have a 0.2% chance, not 0.02% chance, of getting infected with COVID-19.
