Volunteers and staff boxed 1,000 Thanksgiving meals to distribute to kupuna and people in need at the The Salvation Army Kroc Center Hawaii in Ewa Beach on Wednesday. The nonprofit once again opted to pivot from its tradition of hosting a sit-down Thanksgiving meal at the Neal S. Blaisdell Center and opted for delivery this year. Pictured waving to a morning show television camera were volunteers and in the center is Savanah Mecchella.
