Details still are not revealed to the outside observer about the Bishop Museum’s “toxic work environment” complaints that have ignited a firestorm between its board of directors and its top executives.
But at least the temperature has dropped a few notches. Melanie Ide, museum president and CEO, has rescinded her earlier planned resignation from her post, citing a community outcry.
If not clarity, that’s at least a chance to take a breath — and hope that a positive resolution can follow.
