4 injured after crash closes H-1 eastbound by Waimalu

A woman, who was described as approximately 70 years old, is in serious condition and three other men were injured today after a crash involving two vehicles on the H-1 freeway eastbound by the Waimalu off-ramp, according to a Honolulu Emergency Medical Services report.

Two men, who were described as between the ages of 60 and 70, suffered minor injuries, while another male of an unknown age refused treatment, EMS said. Their identities were not immediately released.

Honolulu police this afternoon closed four lanes of H-1 freeway eastbound following the collision involving multiple vehicles. Honolulu police, firefighters and emergency personnel are on the scene.

No other details were immediately available.
