Kilauea’s ‘episode 18’ pauses after over 10 hours of fountaining
Hawaiian Volcano Observatory scientists said “episode 18” of the ongoing Kilaua volcano eruption ended abruptly at 1:28 p.m. Tuesday, April 22. Lava fountains lasted for 10 hours and 8 minutes.
