Waipahu resident Mike Ulep fixed a cot underneath a tent Tuesday outside Best Buy in Aiea. Ulep, who has camped in preparation for Black Friday deals for over 10 years now, has a core group of friends and family who join in. They describe it as a “really long tailgate party” but for the right reasons. Their group shops not only for themselves, but for charitable donations as well.
