“Once people become our customers, they’re part of our ‘ohana and we treat them as family,” said general manager Mario Garcia.
According to Garcia, Windows Hawaii’s customer referral program is unparalleled to any other customer referral base on the island.
“Nobody else has anything like it (this program), especially in our field,” Garcia said. “At the end of the year, we recognize those with the most referrals by presenting them with a token of our appreciation.”
The new year marks a clean slate in the customer referral program — the individual with the highest number of referrals in 2019 will win the California Hotel Las Vegas Trip for Two compliments of Windows Hawaii and Vacations Hawaii, which will be presented at the end of the year.
“The customer with the most referrals will be the proud recipient of the Vegas trip,” Garcia confirmed. “This trip is exclusively for those with the most referrals during the calendar year.”
Garcia explained that the company has a database of customer referrals since 2007, but he revamped the program in 2012. It has expanded considerably since then. The first step is to schedule a free estimate with Windows Hawaii and once customers take receipt of the estimate they are automatically entered into the giveaway.
Furthermore, at the end of each quarter, four finalists are chosen and awarded two tickets to KSSK’s Jade Dynasty Show. Then, at the end of the year the finalists will play High Card with Sweetie Pacarro of the show and the last person standing will win the Las Vegas trip for two.
“When our customers are satisfied, they talk about the product to their friends and family, and at that time, they send us a name or number,” Garcia said. “We nurture the relationship from there. If we make a sale, that’s good. If not, at least we made friends who believe in our products and they still refer us to their friends.”
Besides the company’s customer referral program, Garcia said many of Windows Hawaii’s clients are repeat customers. This is true for Joy Hirata, who has been a loyal customer for several years.
“They’re extremely knowledgeable and their windows are a superior product,” Hirata said. “That crew that installs the windows is professional and competent. I highly recommend them.”
