See what’s going on with Star-Advertiser’s Hawaii event calendar

Honolulu Star-Advertiser’s popular event calendar is now online to make it easier for users to view, add, or change events on the go.

At the convenience of your finger tips, you can quickly locate the calendar and see what’s going on around Hawaii in real-time. The calendar is a great way to get your event out to the public and is free to use.

There are multiple ways to get to the calendar from Star-Advertiser’s home page:

1. Scroll down until you see “Upcoming Events” on the right hand side. This is a way to quickly view what events are coming up within the next week.

2. Another way, is to click “Sections” in the top left corner of the homepage, then click “Event Calendar”

3. Or, you can type in “” into your web browser.

Tip: Don’t forget to bookmark the page to make it easier to return in the future.

Sign In or Register

If you want to add your event to the calendar, you’ll have to sign in. This log-in is separate from your Star-Advertiser account. If you don’t have a log-in already, click “Register” to create a free account.

Don’t forget to check your email for a confirmation code after you register.

Tip: Write down your log-in information to make sure you don’t forget it!

Add an Event

To add an event, click the “Add Event” tab in the top right corner.

Then, start filling out the details to make your event enticing to the public!

If you want to just post your event for free, press “List.” However, you may want to promote your event and have it be the first event people see.

After submitting your event, it may take some time to show up on the event calendar as Star-Advertiser reviews and approves every event to make sure it conforms to our editorial policy and standards.

Once it’s posted, don’t forget to share the link of the event with friends and family!
