VIDEO: Gov. Ige extends start date of pre-travel testing of trans-Pacific arrivals until Sept. 1

Gov. David Ige, seen here wearing a face mask at an April news conference at the State Capitol, plans to announce today that he will be extending Hawaii’s mandatory 14-day quarantine for arriving trans-Pacific passengers through the end of August. He had earlier announced plans to end the quarantine on Aug. 1 for passengers who tested negative for the coronavirus before coming to the state.
