Hy’s Steakhouse is introducing a series of special dinners in celebration of its 40th anniversary.
The first event is a wine dinner, 6 p.m. April 18, in partnership with master sommelier Patrick Okubo, featuring Napa Valley, Calif., wines.
The menu centers on an entree of bison tenderloin. Wines will be from Cakebread Cellars, Lincourt, Jordan Winery and Kenzo Estate. Cost is $150.
Wine dinners will be scheduled monthly.
Also to be held monthly beginning May 10 are Chef’s Table dinners, with menus that feature Hy’s favorites, elevated with the inclusion of seasonal local foods, as well as cocktails made with island fruits. Cost is $100.
The dinners will be held every month through September, with each limited to 20 people. Call 922-5555 or email jonah@hyshawaii.com.
